Samsung has a new physical fitness tracker en route called the Galaxy Fit 2. It’s an updated version of the original Galaxy Fit band that uses a bigger display and more battery life– a lot more battery life, in fact.
Samsung is guaranteeing that the new model can last for at least 15 days on a single charge and up to three weeks depending on your settings. That’s a big dive over the original design, which Samsung promised would get hardly a week of usage off a single charge.
In case the 2 to 3 weeks of battery life wasn’t a tip-off, the Galaxy Fit 2 is certainly not a smartwatch. Samsung also states that the Galaxy Fit can automatically find up to 5 different types of fitness activities.
Samsung hasn’t stated when it’ll launch the Galaxy Fit 2 or a cost, but presumably the business will have more information to share in the coming weeks.
